Taklang Damulag

Taklang Damulag is a name of a mountain that is located at the eastern part of the cantonment area of Fort Magsaysay. Fort Magsaysay is the largest military camp and military reservation area in the Philippines. It is the Home of the Two Biggest Units/Commands of the Philippine Army.

The 7th Infantry Division and the Special Operations Command (SOCOM) of the Philippine Army are located in this military camp.

Taklang Damulag and its surroundings has always been the "playground" of the Special Forces Regiment of the Philippine Army.

The words "taklang damulag" are in the native dialect of the people from Pampanga, a province in Central Luzon in the Philippines. It is simply translated as "water buffalo crap/shit". By looking at its size and formation, the early people in the place who named it gave the exact name of the said mountain.
